a selection of books from the Scottish Writing Exhibition at the MLA 2008 The Scottish Writing Exhibition aims to encourage and support the reading and teaching of Scottish literature internationally by showcasing Scottish titles at academic conferences. The exhibition consists of over 200 books which come from a variety of publishers and represent Scottish writing from the Middle Ages to the modern day. You can see catalogues from past exhibitions from the Previous Exhibitions page.

This website is an online resource for the exhibition. In addition to book catalogues for all the conferences we have attended, you can also find information on new Scottish writing, Scottish classics, the languages of Scotland and support for teachers of Scottish literature. Links on this website are coloured purple; browse the navigation bar above to get started!
