Design and Implementation of Software for Historians

Location : 1 and 2 University Gardens

The DISH lab is split into DISH A in 2 University Gardens and DISH B in 1 University Gardens, which combined offer 29 computers for student use.

DISH C is situated off of DISH B, and though there are no computers in DISH C it does feature a 42" plasma television for aiding with teaching and presentations.

All of the computers in the DISH labs are built on a base of CSCE, but DISH also offers a large number of teaching data sets providing sources as diverse as Scottish census data, 19th century hospital admission registers, Danish tax and census data, and court and penal records of deportees to Van Diemen's Land.
